Territory Manager

“Most days I am out on the road visiting vets and giving them new information on current products. I also ensure that their prescribing habits have not changed or alternatively are changing in the right direction! My territory currently covers Berkshire, half of Hampshire, a small amount of Buckinghamshire, half of West Sussex, Surrey and parts of London.

Since I have worked in Vetmedica the role has become more account focussed and as a team we have remained very competitive, obtaining and retaining market share with our larger competitors. Boehringer is a well respected company within the veterinary industry, both in the eyes of the vets and other pharmaceutical companies.

There are many reasons I enjoy working for Boehringer. Firstly the products we sell are excellent and often market leaders; we have excellent support which makes my job run smoothly and also gives my customers good support in using our products. I feel as an employee one of the company’s priorities is good feeling throughout the workforce and every effort is made to continue to improve on an already impressive working environment. I think this was reflected in the Sunday Times survey.

Finally, the company continuously asks for feedback in how it could improve the working environment and what we as employees need to do our jobs to the highest standard. There is very much an attitude of not "why can't you do it", but "how can we help you achieve it?”
