As part of our commitment to embracing economic and social well-being in the countries and communities in which we operate, we are dedicated to addressing social and environmental issues. During 2006, in the UK, we recycled a total of 1179 tons of material, including 901 tonnes of plastic, 300 fluorescent tubes and 132 tonnes of paper, saving the environment 2244 trees. This does not include the 1000 trees already planted by the company (one for each employee, to celebrate our position in the 2006 Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For).

Our chosen charity of the year is Naomi House is a purpose-built children's hospice that provides a homely environment for children and young people with life-limiting conditions that mean that they will not live to become adults.
