Our Structure

Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd comprises of nine divisions. Each division helps make us one of the fastest growing companies in the UK - we now have an annual turnover of over £397 million and approximately 699 employees.

The divisions:

• Communications works with each of the business divisions to help them communicate their objectives to their target audiences.
• Consumer Healthcare is responsible for the marketing and sales of healthcare products available to the public, without prescription, through pharmacies and major retailers.
• Finance and Administration comprises Finance, Information Systems and General Services. Finance supports each of the business divisions by providing a range of financial services, including legal affairs, purchasing, accounting, treasury and taxes. Information Systems provides hands-on technical support to each of the business divisions. General Services ensure that the business structure and environment operates efficiently and effectively.
• Human Resources works with each of the business divisions to ensure we have one of the best, most satisfied and productive workforces in the country.
• Medical is responsible for all medical services including drug development, marketing support, product registration and pharmaco vigilance (regulatory) services.
• Prescription Medicine is responsible for the marketing and sales of prescription medicine products.
• Vetmedica is responsible for the marketing and sales of animal health products.
