Boehringer Ingelheim has been identified as one of the best companies to work for in the UK by The Sunday Times.
The Berkshire-based office of the German pharmaceutical company came 66th in The Sunday Times’ 100 Best Companies to Work For competition. Boehringer Ingelheim won the award for providing employees with ‘a stimulating workplace where they feel motivated and valued’.
The results were published in yesterday’s The Sunday Times which featured a separate 60-page supplement profiling the top 100 companies.
The competition identifies the best employers in the country from the employees’ viewpoint. To enter, a random group of employees were asked to complete a survey containing 58 detailed questions about their workplaces. The list of top 100 companies was researched and produced by Great Place To Work UK Limited.
Dr Thomas Heil, Managing Director of Boehringer Ingelheim UK said today:
‘This is a significant achievement for us and one which we are all very proud of. We have been working hard over the last few years to improve working life at BI, introducing new facilities for our employees, new reward and recognition processes and new career development opportunities. I am delighted that our achievements have been recognised.’
