Boehringer Ingelheim is 33rd best company to work for says The Sunday Times

Boehringer Ingelheim is the 33rd best company to work for according to The Sunday Times.

The Berkshire-based office of the German pharmaceutical company came 33rd out of 100 in The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For competition. It was the highest ranked pharmaceutical company.

The competition identifies the best employers in the country from the views of employees and the policies and processes of employers. It identifies best practice and ranks companies according to employee satisfaction.

Dr Thomas Heil, Managing Director of Boehringer Ingelheim UK said today:

‘I am delighted that we have been placed 33rd and have made so much progress on last year’s 66th placing. Over the last year we have run an intensive communication programme with our employees which has resulted, amongst other things, in new reward and recognition schemes and new career development opportunities. We have also been working hard to improve the working environment. This award is even more rewarding as it shows that our employees have recognised what we have achieved. I’d like to say a big thank you to them all.’

The list of top 100 companies was researched and produced by Best Companies UK. The results will be published in a supplement in The Sunday Times this week.
